Synergy's Privacy Practices
We care about your privacy and want to be transparent about how data is handled on Synergy.
This page outlines the tools we use, what data they collect (if any), and how we keep things secure.
Third-Party Services
Hetzner
Synergy is hosted on servers provided by Hetzner, a trusted hosting provider based in Europe. This means your data is stored on Hetzner infrastructure.
- We don’t control Hetzner’s internal practices, if you have concerns please refer to Hetzner’s privacy policy.
Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare to improve website performance and security.
Cloudflare handles DNS, Caching, DDoS protection, and more.
- Cloudflare may log basic visitor data as part of their normal operations. For more information, check out Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Umami (Self-Hosted Analytics)
We use Umami, a lightweight, privacy-first analytics tool.
- No personal data is stored, no cookies, no user profiling.
- Fully compliant with GDPR and CCPA.
- We self-host Umami on our Hetzner servers, so your data never gets sent to a third-party analytics provider.
Data Security
While no system is completely immune to security threats, we take privacy and data protection seriously:
- By self-hosting tools like Umami, we reduce exposure to third-party data handling.
- All data that stays on servers managed by us are treated with care and minimalism, we collect only what’s essential.
- Any data collected or stored by external services (like Hetzner or Cloudflare) is beyond our direct control. If needed, please contact them directly for details.
